Balance & Agility Playground Equipment
Balance and agility equipment turns a playground into a course. Instead of a single destination, children get a route to move through — stepping pods, balance beams, wobble boards, rope traverses, ninja walls, hanging obstacles, and stepping logs strung together so there is always a next challenge. This is the category that keeps older children and teenagers on site. Ninja-style obstacle runs and agility circuits reward grip strength, coordination, and repetition, and because kids race each other and time themselves, they get used far more heavily than their footprint suggests. Balance equipment also does quieter work. Low beams, wobble pods, and stepping stones build core stability and proprioception in younger children, and they are among the easiest events to add to an existing playground because most are freestanding and need little clear space. Events can be installed as a continuous course with directional markings or scattered as individual challenges, depending on the site. All balance and agility equipment is built for commercial use to CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487. Designed and manufactured in Alberta, shipped across Canada and the United States.

Adventure Junction | Nature Community Playground
A community playground designed primarily for lava-tag and grounders, but with a strong emphasis on nature-themed play, including a GFRC Log Tunnel, Log Steppers, and Cobble Boulder together with leaf steppers, a leaf roof and a brightly coloured butterfly. The 9-foot-high swingset rounds off the design with nearly every form of play - adventure, agility, sliding, swinging, hanging and climbing!

Crafted from a single hand-hewn cedar log roughly 10 inches in diameter and 8 feet long, this balance beam is countersunk slightly below finished grade so it sits low, stable, and flush with the surfacing around it. Children step heel-to-toe along its length, building core strength, coordination, and spatial awareness — a confident first challenge for early walkers and a warm-up for older climbers.
