BDI Play Designs sells Blue Imp and BDI park & playground equipment direct from our Alberta facility to communities across the United States — with a focus on Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth) and Montana. We don’t run a U.S. storefront; we serve by direct shipping and local support — self-install for what suits it, installation by our own team in Montana, or a recommended local installer in Texas.
How We Serve U.S. Customers
BDI Play Designs is an Alberta, Canada manufacturer and supplier, and part of the Blue Imp network — so U.S. customers can buy Blue Imp and BDI equipment direct. We don’t have a U.S. office; instead, our smaller, freight-shippable products are designed for self-installation, and full play structures are installed by our own team in Montana (our crew or a local partner we manage) or by a recommended local installer in Texas.
Every unit meets or exceeds ASTM F1487, CAN/CSA-Z614, and U.S. CPSC guidelines, and is IPEMA-certified through our manufacturing partner. Budget ranges can be shown in U.S. dollars (use the CA/US toggle at the top of the site); exact unit prices are listed in CAD and quoted in USD on request. All prices are unit prices with U.S. import duty already included, so there is no tariff surcharge. Taxes, shipping, brokerage, and any installation are quoted separately.

Does BDI Play Designs have a location in the United States?

No — we do not operate a U.S. storefront or office. We sell direct from our manufacturing facility in Alberta, Canada, with local support across our Texas service area and Montana. Smaller amenities assemble on site with your own team. For full play structures, we install Montana projects ourselves (our own crew or a local install partner we manage), and in Texas we work with a recommended local installer.
Can my own team install the equipment, or do I need a contractor?

Both are options. Much of our U.S.-shipped line is self-install — it bolts together or sets in place on site with basic tools, and maintenance items like swing seats and patch kits need no contractor at all. For full play structures, we install in Montana (our own crew or a local install partner we manage), and in Texas we pair you with a recommended local installer so the finished result is done right.

All prices are unit prices. U.S. import duty, including the 2026 tariffs on Canadian goods, is included in our U.S. prices, so there is no tariff surcharge. Taxes, shipping, brokerage, and installation are quoted separately, except that Montana orders of US$20,000 or more ship free with brokerage covered.
