Wheelchair-Accessible Playground Equipment
Wheelchair-accessible playground equipment can be entered, approached or used by a child who stays in a wheelchair or other mobility device, from roll-on spinners to accessible play vehicles, activity panels and ramped play structures.
BDI Play Designs applies this tag only when a child can genuinely approach and use the play feature from a mobility device, not simply reach the equipment. For the full range of inclusive options, including sensory, ground-level and quieter play, see Accessible & Inclusive Play.

Round Pedestal Table
Blue Imp's Round Pedestal Table delivers 360° seating in a 1.8 m (6') footprint, fitting more people around a single table than the equivalent rectangular design. The one-piece vinyl-coated perforated steel top and benches resist fading, graffiti, and Canada's freeze-thaw cycles, while the powder-coated galvanized steel frame eliminates any need for seasonal maintenance. Tables can be ordered with one bench removed to create a clear wheelchair-access end, making this a practical choice for accessible parks and schoolyards. Available in blue, green, grey, tan, or brown vinyl with in-ground or surface-mount installation. Installed across Alberta and throughout Canada by BDI Play Designs.
Square Pedestal Table
The Square Pedestal Table packs generous capacity into a clean 1.8 m × 1.8 m (6' square) footprint, making it one of the most space-efficient commercial tables for parks, schoolyards, and recreation areas. One-piece vinyl-coated perforated steel forms both the top and integrated benches in a single durable surface that needs no painting, staining, or seasonal upkeep. The powder-coated galvanized steel pedestal frame anchors solidly in-ground or surface-mounts to any hardscape. Order the wheelchair-accessible variant — with one bench removed — to meet inclusive-design requirements without a separate product. Available across Canada from BDI Play Designs.
Stately Pedestal Table
The Stately Pedestal Table steps up from standard vinyl-coated designs with an all-powder-coated steel finish — top, seats, and frame — colour-matched in any Blue Imp polyester powder shade for a cohesive, site-specific look. The 1.5 m (5') table top accommodates a standard picnic group, and an extended 2.1 m (7') top can be specified to create a fully accessible, wheelchair-friendly end without removing a bench. Stainless steel hardware throughout ensures corrosion resistance that outlasts painted fasteners. Available with in-ground, surface-mount, or portable installation. Shipped Canada-wide by BDI Play Designs.
