Commercial Playground Swings
Swinging is the single most-used activity on most playgrounds, and BDI Play Designs supplies commercial playground swings as complete swing sets, add-on bays, and replacement seats. Frames come as single-bay, multi-bay, arch, and single-leg designs — multi-bay frames are the simplest way to scale capacity at a busy school without adding footprint. Seat options include belt seats for school-age children, bucket and tot seats for toddlers, accessible seats with harnesses for children who need trunk support, tire and saucer seats for group swinging, and T-bar and U-swing seats for cooperative play. Swings need more clear space than any other event: the fall zone extends twice the pivot height in front of and behind the swing, and no other equipment can sit inside it. Getting that right at the design stage is usually what determines how many bays a site can actually hold. Every frame and seat meets CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487. Replacement seats, chains, and hangers ship direct so a maintenance crew can service an existing set without a contractor. Made in Alberta, shipped across Canada and the United States.
